Ryan and Katie Chagonjian live in Napa, CA, with their three daughters. Ryan is a fire captain — and Custom Fire Flags started right there, in the firehouse. After getting off probation at his station, Ryan built a flag out of decommissioned fire hose as a thank-you to his crew. People saw it. People wanted one. What began as a gift to the brotherhood turned into something bigger.
Ryan and Katie started by making flags as a hobby, gifting many to local fire stations and to retiring firefighters. As demand for their craftsmanship grew, they opened their online business — and now design and build custom flags for first responders, military families, and American patriots across the country.
Every flag is built from hose that already served once before it ever hits your wall. That's the whole point. It's history, honor, and a little bit of fire, made by people who live the life it represents.
